Just some basic information for students taking lessons at VVSD schools, during the school day.
Lessons will begin the week of Monday, September 18. Monthly tuition is due by the 1st of the month. Your first payment will be due October 1, and the last will be May 1, 2024. Payment not received by the second lesson of the month is subject to a $25 late fee per student. Payment not received by the third lesson of the month will result in your child being dropped from lessons. If you need payment schedule flexibility, please contact me.
Lessons will generally be on Mondays and Tuesdays. I may have to teach on different days due to such factors as weather, traffic, school trips or drill (bus evacuation, tornado, etc.), assemblies. Please be flexible, as it will be required.
If you call your child in sick from school, please contact me as well. It helps my scheduling.
I take off the following weeks. It generally follows the school schedule:
- November 21 (Thanksgiving week).
- March 27 and April 3 (my Spring break)
I also usually take off the weeks of 5th grade band tryouts and IAR testing. All these weeks off have already been figured into tuition.
