• Lessons are generally weekly and forty minutes long. They are scheduled at our mutual availability.
  • All lessons are held at my house
  • Students are responsible for practicing assigned music and bringing all music to their lesson each week
  • Students are strongly encouraged to find music of interest to them on their own. They are also strongly encouraged to bring that music to their lesson. Whether a favorite pop song, an original composition or a piece by a favorite composer.
  • Parents, siblings, and other visitors are welcome to stay during a lesson provided they do not distract the student or me from the learning process. I welcome parents to stay during lessons, as I can provide instantaneous feedback on student progress and areas that need attention.
  • If you need to reschedule a lesson for any reason, please contact me as soon as possible. Visit my Rescheduling page to reschedule a missed lesson. No credit is given for missed lessons; you may make them up whenever is mutually convenient.
  • Tuition is due for the month on the 15th of the month prior. So September's tuition is due the last week of August.
  • Returned checks will incur a $25 fee.
  • Street parking is available. If the right side of the driveway is open, you may park on that side (closer to the front door)

Music is a language of diversity and inclusion. This is my goal for my studio's students and their families as well.
